Santa Barbara-based Sonos, the developer of multi-room music streaming systems, said today that it is extending the distribution of its products to China. The firm said it has opened up a new office in Shenzen, which will be the headquarters of Sonos China. The new office will be headed by Yaling Zhang, who the firm said previously was Managing Director of Archos China. Sonos said it expects its products to arrive in Chinese audio/video stores by the end of November. Sonos will be localizing its Sonos Controller for the iPad as part of the expansion.
