Sorenson Media Trumpets Growth

San Diego-based Sorenson Media, a developer of video encoding software and video hosting services, announced today that the firm had 40 percent revenue growth in its first quarter of 2010. The privately held firm did not disclose any actual financials. Sorenson Media said it saw "significant" revenue growth across all of its product lines, and also has been increasing its hiring. The company did not say what drove that growth and revenue. Sorenson Media is headed by Peter Csathy.
