Soylent Expands Distribution Through Meijer

Los Angeles-based all-in-one nutrition shake maker Soylent says it is expanding distribution of its product, in a deal with major grocery store chain Meijer. According to Soylent, Meijer will offer up its products in 260 Midwest stores. Soylent says the deal further expands its distribution, which also includes Walmart, Target, and HEB. Soylent says its product "provide the perfect amount of vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates and protein that the body needs - all in one convenient package." The company is named after a dystopian food product from a 1973 sci-fi film with Charlton Heston.
