Irvine-based Specific Media, a major online advertising network, said earlier this week that it has appointed David Jakubowski as a Senior Vice President at the firm. Jakubowski joins Specific Media from Microsoft, where he was general manager of Microsoft adCenter and Search Strategy. Jakubowski has also served at Quigo Technologies. Specific Media operates an online advertising network which allows advertisers to target their ads via demographics; the firm said that its network includes ABC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, Major League Baseball, Sportsline.com and VIACOM.
