San Diego-based StockTwits, the online stock discussion and micro messaging site run by Howard Lindzon, said Tuesday that it has launched a new site, adding a number of major features to the service. According to the firm, it now optimizes the site for any platform accessing the service, whether that's on a big monitor, iPad, or mobile browser; simplified navigation around the site; new ticker pages to help find content and top people for tickers users are interested in; and revamped its profile pages. Lindzon said in a blog post that the changes came after a six month effort by its product and engineering team.
