Study: MySpace Users Now Older

A new study was released this morning from comScore Media Metrix, finding that more than half of MySpace visitors are now 35 or older. The number of Internet users visiting MySpace who were between 35-54 was 40.6 percent in August, which was a 8.2 percentage point increase over the same period last year. For the teenage crowd, the difference was much larger. comScore found that teens 12-17 accounted for 24.7 percent of the MySpace audience in August of 2005, and only 11.9 percent of the site's total audience today.
