Supply Change Capital Gets Backing From Bank Of America

A new, venture capital investment firm focused on early-stage food technology businesses, Supply Change Capital, announced that it has received an equity investment from Bank of America. The new venture capital firm--led by Noramay Cadena and Shayna Harris--said the commitment will go towards its $40M fund goal. Supply Change Capital said its fund is investing in diverse founders across the supply chain in technology, sustainable ingredients, and culture-first brands. According to the fund, it has so far made ten investments to date in food technology companies, and that seventy percent of portfolio companies are led by women and ninety percent of companies are led by a female and/or founder of color.
