Tapiture, the visual, social discovery site aimed at males (which has been billed "Pinterest for men"), says it is showing early traction and engagement monetum, and released some growth and engagement numbers today. The firm, which is led by John Ellis, said that it has just passed one million "taps" of content on its site. The site says it had 8.6 million visits and 78 million page views, from 4.1M unique visitors in Q4 of 2012. The site features photos, images, and videos of everything from stylish products to (not unsurprisingly) beautiful women. The firm recently announced $895,000 in a funding round.
