TeachMe.To Raises $2M

San Diego-based startup TeachMe.To disclosed this morning that it has raised $2M in a seed funding round. The funding reportedly came from 1984 Ventures, Common Metal, Alumni Ventures, plus angels Sam Altman (OpenAI), Vivek Patel (Yelp), Brent Turner (Rover), and Ben Lauzier (Thumbtack). TeachMe.To was founded by Nick O’Brien and Tyler Malone. TeachMe operates a website which helps connect local coaches with people who need coaching, for a wide range of different sports.
