Techstars Music Grad Hurdl Raises $2.5M

Hurdl, a startup which just graduated from LA's Techstars Music Accelerator, said this morning that it has raised $2.5M in a funding round. The funding came from angel investors, including athletes and executives from the sports and media world. Name of those angels was not announced. Hurdl makes the PIXL, a wearable lighted device which allows participants at concerts and other events to become part of the show, coordinated with those live events. The company uses those wearables to also collect and gain more insight into attendees of those live events. Betsy McHugh is founder and CEO of Hurdl.
