TeraWatt Infrastructure Opens EV Charging Site For Trucking

Long Beach-based TeraWatt Infrastructure, which is building out a network of charging sites focused on the trucking industry, says it has broken ground on a new EV charging site specifically for heavy duty electric vehicles. The company said the new, Rancho Dominguez, California site is specifically aimed at Port of Long Beach trucking operations. The company said the site--to be operational by mid-2024--will provide 20 pull-through and bobtail DC fast charging stalls, plusa driver amenities building, complete with a lounge, food and beverage services, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. The Port of Long Beach has been aiming at switching all trucks taking cargo from the site to be zero emissions by 2035.
