The Search Agency: Smartphones, Tablets Now One-Third Of Google Clicks

How much of the online advertising business is now being driven by smartphones and tablets? According to Los Angeles-based search marketing company The Search Agency, more than one third of the total clicks on Google are now being driven by smartphones and tablets. The company--which has been tracking search trends in a quarterly report it calls the State of Paid Search Report, said that consumers are increasingly migrating towards smartphones and tablet devices. The company's report found that click volumes on smartphones increased by over 50 percent, and clicks increased by 63.4 percent year over year. The Search Agency also has been tracking other statistics in its report, which uses the company's broad base of clients for data.
