Ventura-based The Trade Desk, the new online ad exchange firm headed by former AdECN founder Jeff Green, is announcing today that it has partnered with Acquisio, a PPC management software provider. According to the firms, the two will provide an integrated search and display marketing product. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The two said the deal will provide Acquisio's clients with ad serving capabilities, ad tracking, and ability to track their sales channel and track clicks and conversions. Green was founder of AdECN, an ad exchange purchased by Microsoft in 2007. Acquisio said it manages more than $450M in ad spending for such firms as Yellow Pages Group, SEO Inc. and other firms. The Trade Desk is venture backed by IA Ventures and Founder Collective, as well as a long list of other angel investors.
