TigerText Expands Board

Santa Monica-based secure messaging service provider TigerText said Tuesday that it has named three new board members at the company. The company said it has added Shasta Ventures' Sean Flynn, Orbimed's Steve Yecies, and New Leaf Ventures' Vijay Lathi to its board of directors. TigerText, which is led by Brad Brooks, said the new board members will bring a wealth of startup experience to the company. Flynn also sits on the board of ZEFR, and led Shasta's investment in DollarShaveClub. Yecies was the founder of Chronic Health Capital, and Lathi also sits on the boards of Awarepoint, iRhythm Technologies, among other companies.
