Tinder Decides To Finally Leave Russia

Los Angeles-based dating app developer Tinder and its parent company, Match Group, have finally decided to leave the Russian market, a year after most US companies started cutting ties with the country when Russia invaded Ukraine. According to Match Group, it will withdraw from the Russian market completely by June 30th. Interestingly enough, due to Tinder's continued business in Russia, the service has become part of the information warfare between Russia and Ukraine, with some users using the app to pinpoint the location of Russian troops for targeting by the Ukrainian military.
