Carlsbad-based ToutVirtual, a provider of software for the management of virtual computing, has added a new addition to its VirtualIQ software line. ToutVirtual said this week that its VirtualIQ 525 freeware software, which administrators use to manage server virtualization software from VMware and Xen, supports management of up to 5 CPUs or 25 virtual machines. The software supports VMware GSX Server, VMware Server, VMware ESX Server, VMware Player, VMware Workstation, and Xen virtualization software packages. ToutVirtual is targeting the management of virtual environments, deployment, and reporting.
