San Diego-based TriLink BioTechnologies, a biotech startup working on technology for improving PCR processes, said this morning that it has received a $100,000 Phase I, SBIR Grant from the National Institutes of Health. The firm said the funding will go to develop a "hot start" approach for ligase chain reaction (LCR). The firm said the new funding is the fifth, Phase I grant it has received.
