TrueCar Launches Auto Accessories Marketplace

Santa Monica-based TrueCar has launched a new, auto accessories marketplace, which it says allows its buyers to choose from more than 12,000 hardware parts, customized to the online vehicle a buyer is purchasing. According to the company, the new service, TrueCar+, uses VIN-specific fit information to match accessories with any of its vehicles in inventory, and can add those accessories into lease and financing of its new and used vehicles. TrueCar said the new TrueCar+ capabilities come as a result of its recent acquisition of Digital Motors.
