Two Bit Circus Sets Date For Grand Opening Of First Micro-Amusement Park

Los Angeles-based Two Bit Circus, the startup blending science education and entertainment, has set a date for the opening of its first "micro-amusement park", saying that its first location--in the Los Angeles Arts District--will open on September 7th. Two bit Circus said its new location, at 634 Mateo Street, will open on September 7th in a "ribbon cutting" with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilman Jose Huizar, Bill Nye and the Planetary Society, and more. The new amusement park features "Next-level dunk tank, lasers, more fire and robots", according to Two Bit Circus. The startup has been offering up its unique blend of science experiments and carnival-type amusement at one-off events for the last few years; this is the first time it has set up in a permanent storefront location.
