Upfront, Rincon Back Qordoba

Two, Los Angeles-based venture capital investors have backed a developer of machine learning software, Qordoba, in its first investment funding round. Qordoba said the $5M funding came from Upfront Ventures and Rincon Venture Partners, with both Upfront Ventures' Kara Nortman and Rincon's Jim Andelman joining the company's board. Qordoba's machine learning software is used by such clients as Sophora, Cartier, Nutanix, and Netskope for language localization. Qordoba is based in San Francisco.
