Irvine-based Uptake Medical, a developer of non-surgical treatments for lung disease, said today that it has named Scott Huennekens to its board. Huennekens is President and CEO of Volcano Corporation, and also has served at Digirad Corporation, and Baxter Healthcare's Cardiovascular Group/Edwards Lifesciences.
