Userplane Links With Online Community Sites

Los Angeles-based Userplane, the instant messaging and chat software firm owned by AOL, said Thursday that it has added four companies to the list of online service providers using integrating its products. According to Userplane, KickApps, Small World Labs, Magnify, and Pringo are all using its instant messaging, live chat, and presence tools within their online community tools. Kickapps disclosed the integration with Userplane earlier this week. Magnify provides an online video platform; Small World Labs is focused on enterprise social networking; and Pringo is a provider of private-label, online communities. Financial details of the deals were not disclosed.
