V-Vehicle Ramping In Louisiana

San Diego-based V-Vehicle, the stealthy, automotive startup which is heavily backed by such notable investors as Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Google, and T. Boone Pickens--is apparently ramping up its factory in Louisiana, according to a report. According to local Monroe, Louisiana paper The News Star, V Vehicle executives are looking for local, Louisiana companies for such things as industrial machinery, metal fabrication, industrial lighting, food and vending services, and more. V-Vehicle purchased a defunct automotive factory in Louisana in June; the firm has yet to announce any details of what kind of automobile it is building, exactly.
