Aliso Viejo-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals said today that it has entered into an agreement with Spear Pharmaceuticals, where the firm will commercialize a cream used to reduce wrinkles and fade irregular pigmentation due to sun damage. Valeant said it will pay $12M to spear plus share in net profits on the deal. The deal covers Spear's Refissa prescription topical tretinoin cream.
