ValueClick Acquires Pricerunner AB

Westlake Village-based ValueClick (www.valueclick.com) said that it has agreed to acquire Pricerunner AB, a European comparison shopping site. ValueClick will add Pricerunner's services to its suite of online marketing solutions. Pricerunner provides information on over 170,000 products and 1200 online retailers to online buyers. The deal is worth approximately $29.0M in cash and stock. ValueClick said that it has been looking at adding comparison shopping services as part of its strategic growth plan.
