Santa Barbara-based Versora (www.versora.com) said that it has released a set of white papers on its Windows to Linux migration that the company co-authored with Novell. The white papers cover the migration of Microsoft tools to open source tools running on Novell's SUSE LINUX platform. Versora is developing software to aid companies in moving from Microsoft-based tools to open source Linux platforms. The company's tools automate the movement of configuration and source files from Microsoft to Linux solutions such as the Apache web server.
