ViaSat Names Wildblue's Moore As VP

Carlsbad-based ViaSat, which develops equipment for the networking and satellite communications market, said today that it has named Tom Moore as the firm's Senior Vice President and President of its new Ka-band broadband satellite initiative. Moore is the co-founder, director, and former president and CEO of Internet-via-satellite firm WildBlue Communications. moore was most recently a principal at TimesArrow, a venture capital firm located in Denver. ViaSat's Ka-band broadband satellite effort is targeted at providing high speed, broadband satellite Internet services to U.S. and Canadian consumers and companies.
