Viasat Selected By Southwest Airlines

Carlsbad-based satellite Internet provider Viasat said on Wednesday that it has been selected by Southwest Airlines. Viasat said that Southwest Airlines has selected its next genneation Ka-band satellite for in-flight connectivity on all of Southwest's new aircraft deliveries, starting this fall. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
