Vinohead Targets Millennials, Gen-Z Through Wine Drops

A new, Los Angeles startup, Vinohead, said on Wednesday that it has launched a new service which allows Millenials and Gen-Z to buy wine, direct, from single wineries through sales "drops". The startup said it has launched a beta for something it calls its "X-Drop", where it will offer up exclusive wines to consumers. The company said its first "drop" started yesterday, in a partnership with Chosen Family Wine to release its 2019 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The company said it will offer up curated wine recommendations, expert reviews, content, and an online marketplace for a "new generation of wine drinkers". The startup was founded by Josh Entman.
