Vionic Gets $900K For Social Offers

San Diego-based Vionic, a developer of technology for helping companies create social media deals and promotions, said Wednesday that it has raised $900,000 in a funding round. The funding came from angel investors. According to the startup, which is led by Kosta Gara, its customers include The UPS Store, Office Max Mexico and Pure Barre. The company also said it has added Marie DeOrio as Vice President of Marketing for the company. The company's board members also include Dr. Jeff Donahue (EMN8, Accordent) and Mexican Congressman Benjamin Gonzalez Roaro. More information »
