Viridity Energy, a developer of demand-side management software for managing the smart grid, has raised $15M in an investment round from Mitsui & Co. The firm--which is based in Philadelphia, but also has a sales office in Newbury Park, California--develops a platform it says helps large energy users to manage their energy spending.
