Irvine-based VIZIO, the manufacturer of LCD HDTVs, said Friday that it has licensed its patent portfolio to firm E & S International. Financial details of the patent license were not announced. The company said the licensing concludes patent actions brought by VIZIO against E & S International. VIZIO has a number of patent lawsuits in motion against other digital TV firms.
