San Diego-based vMix has scored a win with the new, San Diego CW television network. vMix said today that it has launched a new destination Web player for viewers of the San Diego CW 5 station, where viewers will be able to upload and watch their user videos. The new YOVIO web site will be powered by vMix's social video platform. San Diego CW 5 is part of the Tribune broadcasting group. Terms were not disclosed. vMix provides a user-generated content web site focused on slide shows and video mash-ups, and is funded by Enterprise Partners and Mission Ventures.
