Warner Bros. TV In Deal With Amazon

Burbank-based Warner Bros. domestic Television Distribution, the arm of Warner Bros. which handles distribution to the domestic television marketplace, has inked a digital video license agreement with Amazon.com. According to Amazon, the deal will bring a number of popular TV shows, including Fringe and The West Wing, to its Amazon Prime Instant Video service, as well as the Kindle Fire. Financial details of the licensing deal were not announced. Amazon has been slowly growing its catalog of titles on its video streaming service. As part of the agreement, Amazon said that Fringe and The West Wing will be exclusively available for the summer on its service. Other titles covered by the agreement include Dark Blue, Alcatraz, and The Whole Truth.
