Warner, SEGA Launch Matrix Online

Burbank-based Warner Bros. Interactive Intertainment and SEGA announced today that they are launching a massively multi-player online g*me centered around The Matrix. The new online service incorporates the Matrix film into a PC-based g*me which incorporates the characters, music, and settings of the Matrix. The companies also said that they will include a live events team that will act as actual Matrix characters for missions and player-organized events. The service will be available at game retailers and will require a monthly subscription of $14.99. Massively multiplayer g*mes have become extremely popular with online gamers, who interact, build up characters, and in other cases have even sold virtual property for non-virtual money.
