Irvine-based WD said today that it has launched a new product--a wireless range extender aimed at extending the range of Wi-Fi networks. The firm said its new product, the My Net Wi-Fi Range Extender, helps boost weak Wi-Fi signals within a home. The firm said the new device has an MSRP of $89.99, and is available from select U.S. retailers and directly from WD. The new device is part of WD's expansion into wireless home networking products; the firm had earlier launched a family of HD dual-band routers.
