Websense Loses CFO

San Diego-based Websense, the developer of web security software, said late Tuesday that CFO Arthur S. Locke II has resigned, and has been replaced by Michael A. Newman. According to the company, Locke resigned to return to Virginia with his family, and the resignation was not related to the company's past or projected financial performance, accounting policies, or regulatory filings. Newman has been at Websense since 2002, and serves as Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Websense said it has launched a search for a full time CFO.
