Within Gets $40M For Virtual, Augmented Reality

Los Angeles-based Within, a distributor of virtual reality and augmented reality films, said Wednesday that it has raised $40M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Temasek and Emerson Collective, and also included WPP, Macro Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, 21st Century Fox, and Raine Ventures. Within's CEO is Chris Milk. The company says its sister company is the VR production house Here Be Dragons. More information »
