    Wonderware Buys Software Firm


    Lake Forest-based Wonderware said Wednesday evening that the firm has acquired SAT Corporation, a developer of software for managing plant operations, maintenance, production tracking, and compliance. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wonderware, which is a business unit of Invensys, said that SAT Corporation's products include IntelaTrac Enterprise Suite, a software platform for enabling workflow, procedural and general task management in plant operations. SAT Corporation will become Wonderware's Mobile Solutions Group.
