Pasadena-based X1 Technologies, which develops enterprise search software, said Monday that it has added support for Microsoft's SharePoint 2007 portal software. According to X1, the firm's upgraded software includes a component which will connect its X1 Enterprise Server to SharePoint 2007, and a more limited connector for the firm's X1 Professional Client. The new SharePoint 2007 support comes on top of existing support for SharePoint 2003 offered by the software. X1's software can be used to search through company data and documents. X1 is backed by Idealab.
