XCOR Aerospace Raises $14.2M More

Mojave-based space vehicle maker XCOR Aerospace said this morning that it has raised $14.2M in a Series B funding round. The company--which is in the midst of developing a reusable, rocket-powered vehicles for launching people into space--said the funding came from Space Expedition Corporation (SXC) of The Netherlands. As part of the funding, SXC is adding Michiel Mol and Mark Hoogendoorn to XCOR's board of directors. XCOR said it will use the new funding to help to bring its Lynx suborbital spaceplane to market. XCOR Aerospace has yet to launch its suborbital space vehicles into space. More information »
