    Xirrus Adds European Customers

Westlake Village-based Xirrus, a provider of Wi-Fi switching hardware, said this week that it has signed on two new customers for its products. According to Xirrus, the firm's hardware has been deployed by Middleton Paper, a paper manufacturing firm in the United Kingdom, as well as TATA S.P.A., an industrial air conditioning and heating manufacturer, in Treviso, Italy. No details on the financial impact of either deal was disclosed. In the Middleton Paper deal, Middleton said that Xirrus was selected because its hardware allowed each of its warehouses to be covered with a single cable drop. In the TAT S.P.A. deal, Xirrus was selected to help provide both Wi-Fi coverage in its offices and warehouses, and also provide a wireless link between those facilities.
