Zadara Expands To Object Storage

Irvine-based cloud storage provider Zadara Storage said today that it has added new, object storage services to its offerings. According to Zadara Storage, its new ZIOS Intelligent Object Store lets its users store objects using the same infrastructure as its block and file storage services. Zadara says the new service is S3/Swift compatible. Swift is the object storage interface which is part of OpenStack, and Amazon's S3 offers up its own object storage service. Pricing on the new service was not announced. Zadara is led by Nelson Nahum.
