ACTIVE Network Wins Chicago Triathalon

San Diego-based ACTIVE Network reports this morning that its cloud-based software products are being used as part of the ITU World Triathlon Chicago, which is run by the International Triathlon Union. According to ACTIVE Network, the deal makes the company an official "Gold-Level" partner of USA Triathalon. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Around 4,000 athletes participate in the event. ACTIVE's software is being used for participant registration and management.
