Activision Blizzard Names Public Policy Head, Legal Chief
Santa Monica-based game maker Activision Blizzard reported Wednesday afternoon that the firm has appointed George L. Rose as Executive Vice President and Chief Public Policy Officer, and has also named Christopher B. Walther as its Chief Legal Officer. Rose was most recently Chief Legal officer for the firm, and has been at the company for more than 14 years. Walther was most recently General Counsel for Western Europe for Procter & Gamble. Activision said the new public policy position was created to "proactively address the complex global legislative issues and regulatory issues likely to face our industry" in the future.
