Aculon Adds Former Iomega CEO to Board
San Diego-based Aculon, a developer of nanomaterials and specialized coatings, announced recently that it has added Jonathan Huberman, former CEO and Vice Chairman of Iomega, to its board of directors. Huberman--who is now President of the Consumer and Small Business Products Division at EMC--said in a statement that he will help the firm secure growth capital and introduce the firm to electronic partners. Iomega was acquired by EMC in June of last year. Aculon said it is developing molecular scale surface and interfacial coatings, which use nanotechnology developed at Princeton University; the firm said its products can be used for nonstick coatings, adhesion coatings, and anti-corrosion coatings across a wide range of industries.
