Aerovironment Gets Energy Win In Wisconsin
Monrovia, California-based Aerovironment, a developer of unmanned aircraft systems and energy systems, said Thursday that the firm has installed its wind energy systems at a Wisconsin manufacturer. The firm said that its Architectural Wind system has been installed at a Beloit, Wis. manufacturing facility owned by Kettle Foods. Financial size of the deal was not disclosed. 18 wind turbines, enough to generate 28,000 kW of power each year, have been installed at the plant. Aerovironment develops electric vehicle charging stations, along with unmanned aircraft for the U.S. military.
