Apple Closes All Stores In California On COVID-19 Surge
Apple temporarily closed all of its retail stores in California over the weekend, as rising case rates and a surge in COVID-19 cases has threatened to overwhelm hospitals in the state. Apple said that the closures are "Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, and also said it took the steps "with an abundance of caution", and is closely monitoring the situation. The company also has closed stores in half a dozen other states.
