Bccthis Becomes Subtextual
Los Angeles-based Bccthis, the email software startup developing an application which helps users provide additional information to email recipients through Microsoft Outlook, is announcing today that it has renamed its Subtextual. The firm, which was founded by Dave Waldman and Michael Steuer, said the name change will "better reflect the value of what the company does" for email. Waldman also said, specifically, that the name change will avoid giving people the wrong impression about the product, particularly for people who do not like using the BCC feature of email programs. Along with the name change, Bccthis also said it has exited beta phase for the firm, and is now seeing over 2,000 downloads of the software a day.
