Bid4Spots Reports Progress On Cable TV Ads
Encino-based Bid4Spots, the online radio and TV advertising firm headed by Dave Newmark, said this week that the firm has seen a 40 percent increase in ad revenues in its online marketplace for cable television advertising since its launch in May. The firm also said it now has cable operators which allow it to reach 8.37 million households in most DMA market nationwide. Bid4Spots operates an online reverse auction which allows advertisers to fill unfilled ad space; the firm has been running its reverse auctions for unsold radio time for a few years, and just launched a similar product in May for the cable TV market.
